Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shafer, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work includes the construction of approximately : 1,000 CU YD Common Excavation, 2,040 TON Aggregate Base, Class 5,920 TON Type SP Wearing Course Mixture (2,B),1,000 LIN FT Ditch Grading,76 LIN FT RC Pipe Culvert together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Responsible Contractor Certification. A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of Franconia Township shall accompany each bid. All work under the Contract must be complete by August 31, 2019. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
