The work for which bids are asked includes the following: o Bid #1 Utility Improvements - Installation of 12-inch watermain, additional connection to water tower standpipe, miscellaneous utility adjustments, and restoration. o Bid #2 Tower Reconditioning - Complete coating removal and replacement of all exterior and wet interior surfaces, and spot repair for an existing 75,000 gallon elevated steel hydrocone water tower, tower electrical replacements and restoration. The anticipated substantial completion date is July 29, 2022 (Bid #1), September 9, 2022 (Bid #2) and final completion date is September 30, 2022. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Lucas Jones, PE, 60 Plato Boulevard East, Suite 140, St. Paul, MN 55107-1835.
