The work of this single-bid project contains partial building renovation for office spaces, parcel delivery, relocating campus radio station and box office. Scope of work includes demolition, asbestos abatement, elevator replacement, general construction (steel studs, lay-in ceiling systems, finishes), extension of existing mechanical systems, hot water heating modifications, new sprinkler system, fire alarm system expansion, building controls expansion, minor structural modifications and new lighting. Fire Alarm system and building control system will be sole sources. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
