As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. NAICS Code 237990. The solicitation is anticipated to issue as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The resulting in contract shall be a firm fixed price (FFP). The anticipated bid opening date is set for 16 July 2019, however, actual date of bid opening will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date. The work consists of the removal of shoal material within the Barataria Bay Bar Channel, and satisfactory disposal thereof within the allowable Grand Terre Island disposal site(s) as shown on contract drawings. Minimal dike work is required, with potential soft dikes (hay rounds) required to train effluent waters. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Potential contractors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any amendments. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on FedBizOpps. You will need the Adobe Reader for .pdf files in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. You are encouraged, for marketing purposes, to register as an Interested Vendor in FedBizOpps. one by clicking on the solicitation title and clicking on the button that says Register as an Interested Vendor and entering your business information.
