George Washington Carver Park Improvements - Zone A - this project includes improvements to the existing baseball field. it will be re-graded and sodded. new little league base plugs will be installed. new galavanized chain link fence will replace the existing one and the backstop frame will be repaired with new chainlink mesh. new concrete will be poured in the dugout areas and two new aluminum dugout benches installed. project includes one alternate which adds two new dugout canopy structures and removes one high mast lighting pole. the property is a public park owned by the city of new orleans and managed by nordc. no change of use is proposed All bids remain valid for Calendar Days Ninety (90) Calendar Days 1. Locate, purchase, deliver and install Imported Planting Soil and soil amendments. 2. Harvest and stockpile existing site soils suitable for Planting Soil. 3. Modify existing stockpiled site soil. a. Modify existing site soil in place for use as Planting Soil. b. Install existing or modified existing soil for use as Planting Soil. 4. Locate, purchase, deliver and install subsurface Drain Lines. 5. Fine grade Planting Soil. 6. Incorporate Compost into Planting Soil. 7. Clean up and disposal of all excess and surplus material.
