Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Keams Canyon, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
This procurement is an Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Set-Aside - Bids are solicited only from Indian economic enterprises, both small and large Indian owned business concerns. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. Estimated Price Range: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. A Bid Bond is required. Performance and Payment Bonds are required after award of contract. Requirement: Reroof Warehouse Bldgs. 64 & 65, Hopi Agency, Keams Canyon, AZ, Navajo County. Delivery: 30 Days After Notice to Proceed PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project consists of the demolition, disposal of existing roofing on Building #64 and #65 (as specified) and installing new standing seam metal roofing over SIP panels. The Buildings are constructed of steel and wood framing with transite paneling and single ply membrane roofing. Hopi Agency is located in Northern Arizona in Navajo County, within the confines of the Hopi Nation at coordinates: LAT+35.788131 LONG110.092610 SCOPE OF SERVICES Contractor shall furnish all technical, supervisory, and administrative personnel to ensure the expeditious accomplishment of the work. Contractor shall furnish all necessary services, labor, tools, supplies, materials, equipment, investigations, and transportation required to perform the work listed as specified in the Statement of Work. The Scope of Work includes: Inventory Type: Bldg. #64 Warehouse/Shop 1953 12965 sq/ft Bldg. #65 Warehouse/Shop 1953 11758 sq/ft ITEM 1 - Remove existing roofing system, jacks, boots, underlayment (felt paper), metal edge flashings, metal fasteners, & damaged or otherwise inferior fascia board and dispose of properly. ITEM 2 - Install standing seam metal roof after removal of existing roofing system. Install new roofing over SIP panels (Raycore or equivalent) 5" on centerline of building tapered to 2" at the edge to achieve a minimum of .25":12 slope for adequate drainage. Install required jacks, drip edge, and fascia as necessary. Fascia board shall be primed and ready for paint. Clean roof deck to receive new roofing materials. Inspect roof structure for damaged sheathing; Replace all damaged sheathing on a unit price per sheet of plywood. Install edge flashing (24 gauge metal with a 30-year warranty); Install counter-flashing, flashings; and step-flashing as required at all roof penetrating elements (i.e. vent, flue, chimney, and piping)
