Renovation of a municipal facility in Fremont, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Location and Description. The Project is located at the Stivers Lagoon Nature Area in Central Park, and is described as follows: The project scope consists of installation of temporary trunk wrap protection and temporary construction fencing, mobilization, maintenance of traffic and access, general demolition, clearing and grubbing, rough grading and excavation, installation of decomposed granite surfacing with permeable rock, concrete sidewalk and concrete bands, ADA van-accessible parking stalls with ADA curb ramp, accessible signage and striping, truncated domes, boulder seating, installation of city-furnished steel trash and recycle receptacles, relocation of existing light pole, and other such items or details that are required per plans, standard specifications and these special provisions. Contractor shall obtain an encroachment permit from Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District prior to commencement of any work within District right-of-way and for the construction, modification or connection to District-maintained facilities. All workmanship, equipment, and materials shall conform to District standards and specifications. All fees, submittals and permits are the responsibility of the Contractor.
