The basic scope entails but is not limited to the following: Construct new 7,144 square foot analytical modular lab within AFRL building 8523 (floor plan to come with solicitation). Work shall include interior fit out of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire suppression/fire notification, 9 exhaust hoods, installation of walls and ceilings, and associated infrastructure and connections. Construct exterior propane fuel tank and fuel lines as well. This project is design-bid-build. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Concern Set-Aside,refer to Contract Clause No. FAR 52.219-6 in Section 00 21 13 of the solicitation. Bids are solicited only from small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered non-responsive and will be rejected. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be made to a small business concern. The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Bidders are advised that this project may be delayed, canceled or revised at any time during the solicitation, evaluation, selection and/or final award process. CONTRACT NO.:FA8903-16-D-0014 The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within ten (10) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 365 calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
