Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Reconstruction of the Facilities Management North Parking Lot located at West 30th Street. Work includes removal and replacement of the existing parking lot pavement and installation of new Hot Mix Asphalt pavement, storm sewer piping and intakes, minor electrical conduit and junction box, and parking lot markings. Bids will be received for a unit price contract.Iowa Construction Sales Tax Exemption Certificates will be provided on this project.Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents or furnish the required 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date of opening. The project has participation goal for certified targeted small business.The participation goal 10% is specified in the special conditions. The Board of Regent,State of Iowa Reserves the right to reject any all bids ,to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which in the best interest of the owner.
