As of May 29, 2024, per owner, this project has been scrapped and is not moving forward. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: City of Elk River has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for engineering services for the extension of both Twin Lakes Road from US Highway 10/169 to the BNSF Railroad crossing of 171st Avenue and Yale Street/Future Road from 500 feet south of 167th Avenue to 171st Avenue. The engineering services shall include topographic survey, right of way identification, community engagement, agency coordination, and preliminary and final design to meet federal funding design standards and requirements. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
