This project provides funding for the recontouring of the stream bank between Saugstad Park and the Chamber of Commerce building along Dry Creek in Downtown Roseville. The project will serve to protect adjacent property, increase habitat function, and reduce sedimentation into our local creek system while improving the creek aesthetics of Saugstad Park. Project is included City of City of Roseville FY 2021-2025 CIP. Per the owner, as of July 6, 2021, a design-builder has been selected. Owner states that construction will commence the week of July 7, 2021. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ___________________________________________________ The Saugstad Urban Rivers Grant Bank Stabilization Project was started from a successful grant application the City submitted to the California Natural Resources Agency in 2016 and is funded primarily through Proposition 1 funds. The project goals are to reduce soil sedimentation in the Dry Creek, stabilize the creek bank adjacent to the Chamber of commerce building, City owned property, and adjacent private landowners, as well as create diverse instream and native riparian habitat. The City is seeking a 100% design and construction proposal to complete all grant and construction requirements by January 2022. Deadline for questions is June 21, 2019.
