Site work for a water / sewer project in Sheffield Lk, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract A includes the replacement of about 294' of 12" waterline crossing Interstate 90, inside a casing pipe and a connection to the existing waterline. Contract B includes about 423' of 12" PVC, waterline installed by open-cut methods plus a connection to the existing waterline and Contract A. Engineer's Probable Construction Cost Estimate: for Contract A - $ 223,700 Engineer's Probable Construction Cost Estimate: for Contract B - $ 77,650 All work must be completed within 90 days from Notice to Proceed. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must comply with Prevailing Wage rates. Questions by prospective bidders concerning this project should be directed in writing, via email, to skellengerm@ksassociates.com. The Village reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. The Village also reserves the right to consider administrative costs if it chooses to award to a single contractor or if it chooses to award to separate contractors.
