Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Completed plans call for the expansion of a wastewater treatment plant.
Construction of a new headworks building, MBBR Tanks, and a tertiary building; upgrades to the North East Lift Station and Blower building, rehabilitation of cell lagoons; and upgrades to the South East Lift Station & Moseson Lift Station. TIMELINE: Public tendering process was completed in 2020 to determine select a P3 consortium. A business partnership (named Peace Hills Utilities Inc.) has been established between the City, Graham Capital and Aquatera in order to provide construction, financing, and long-term operations & maintenance services. All trades secured. Construction to commence shortly. Partnership between the City of Wetaskiwin & Graham is a 50/50 partnership. Aquatera will provide long-term operations & maintenance services to the City for both wastewater & water utilities.
