Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Wantagh, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Estimated Range $14,000,000-$18,000,000 Each proposal must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and as called for in the Special Note Best Value Submission. This will be a lump sum project with the agreement of a PLA enclosed in the project manual. All submissions must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of: $850,000.00 (Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents) General Construction Contract: D005621 Construct a new Energy and Nature Center at Jones Beach West End II. This contract will be administered under a PLA. Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) 13% Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) 17% The following goals for SDVOB participation on this project have been established at: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business 4% PROJECT COMPLETION The completion date for this project is 385 days with an anticipated approval by or/on after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller Office and a final completion date of September 27, 2020. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the statutory form of public bonds required by Sections 136 and 137 of the State Finance Law, each for 100% of the amount of the Contract
