Project includes contractors for a firm fixed-price contract for Trimming & Tree Removal, Spring Brook, Spring Valley and Hillside Heights Apartments, Moline Housing Authority, Moline, IL. Trimming & removal of designated trees, removal of stumps to 8 below grade filled with topsoil, with seeding by Owner. There will be no pre-bid meeting, contractors are encouraged to visit each site prior to submitting a bid. ATTENTION is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, and payment of not less than the prevailing Davis-Bacon Wage determinations set forth in the Project Manual. ATTENTION is called to the provisions of the Section 3 Clauses set forth in the Project Manual. Contractors and subcontractors will commit themselves to making a good faith effort to meet the 10% goal of employing minorities and 6.9% goal of employing women. This publicly funded project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The contractor shall appoint a company executive to assume the responsibility for the implementation of all requirements, terms and conditions. The Moline Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 45 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Moline Housing Authority.
