Renovation of a municipal facility in Hackensack, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Attendance by all prospective bidders and their sub-contracts, and suppliers is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Bergen County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for the full amount of the bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of the successful bidders contract. All Bid Addenda will be issued on the website as well as in accordance with 40A:11-23c. Notice of addenda shall be provided pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of the content of all addenda related to this procurement. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq. The County's Engineering estimate for this project is less than $250,000.00 and therefore neither the Project Labor Agreement nor the Responsible Bidder Requirements apply to this project. Bidders are bound by all other specified labor requirements.
