Site work for a civil project in Marion, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Location / Site Directions: The Project is located in Marion Community Building Park and under US Highway 70 BUS. Pre-Bid Meeting Information: There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. This Project consists of stormwater improvements to replace an existing 36" CMP under US Hwy 70 BUS and a 24"x24" concrete box culvert through Marion Community Building Park. Approximately 210 LF of 36" CMP will be installed using open-cut methods and approximately 140 LF of 0.375-inch thick steel pipe will be bored and jacked under US Hwy 70 BUS to connect to an existing stormwater vault on the other side of the highway. The existing system will be abandoned with flowable fill.
