As of 06/26/2019 Plans/Specs are not yet ready. West Lincoln Way Water Main Replacement Project All Bids Shall Be Delivered to the Office of Minerva Clerk of Council at or Prior to the Date and Hour Specified for Receiving Bids. In the Case of Corporations Not Chartered in Ohio, the Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Proper Certificate of the Secretary of State, Certifying That Such Corporation is Authorized to Do Business in Ohio. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the Form of 1) a Certified Check, or Cashiers Check or Letter of Credit, Equal to 10% of the Bid; or 2) a Bid Guaranty Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid; Both Forms of Guaranty as Provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the Project Specifications. All Bid Guaranties Shall Be Conditioned That if the Bid is Accepted Within Sixty (60) Days of the Bid Opening, a Proper Contract Shall Be Executed and That Upon Failure or Refusal to Enter Into Said Contract Within Ten (10) Days After Receipt of Notification of Award the Bidder and the Surety on Any Bond Shall Be Liable to the Village of Minerva Not to Exceed Ten (10) Percent Pf the Bid. Each Bidder Must Insure That All Employees and Applicants for Employment Are Not Discriminated Against Because of Race, Color Religion, Sex, Handicap, or National Origin. The Village of Minerva Reserve the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received, and to Accept Any Bid or Combination of Bids Which is Deemed Most Favorable to the Village at the Time and Under Conditions Stipulated. Each Proposal Must Contain the Full Name of the Party or Parties Submitting the Proposal and All Persons Interested Therein. Each Bidder Must Submit Evidence of Its Experiences on Projects of Similar Size and Complexity. The Owner Intends and Requires That This Project Be Completed No Later Than 120 Days After Notice to Proceed. All Contractors and Subcontractors Involved With This Project Will, to the Extent Practicable, Use Ohio Products, Materials, Services, and Labor in the Implementation to Their Project. Additionally, Contractor Compliance With the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and the Governor's Executive Order 84.9 Shall Be Required. The Village of Minerva Further Declare That They Will Award the Contract for This Project to the Lowest and Best Bid Which May Not Necessarily Be the Lowest Bid. The Specifications Contain a Bidder's Profile and a Stark County References Checklist Designed to Gather Certain Information That May Be Considered in This Regard. No Single Factor Will Control the Board's Decision to Award, and the Board Reserves the Right to Exercise Its Full Discretion. The Base Bid of This Project is Estimated to Cost Approximately $295,000. By Order of the Village of Minerva, Minerva Ohio
