Renovation of a library in Burbank, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

The Library Services Department is converting an existing area of the Burbank Central Library into a Technology Room. The new room will be approximately 37' x 12' (approx. 450 SF). The City is accepting quotations from contractors to fabricate and to install storefront-style frame and glazing in three separate sections between existing interior plastered columns and soffits. The storefront partition system will have glazing above a paneled section. The City may terminate this agreement, with or without cause, at any time by the city after giving thirty (30) days written notice to the vendor. Bidders shall possess a valid class "C17-Glazing Contractor" license, or a "B General Building Contractor" license or a "C Specialty Contractor" license at the time that the Contractor submits bid. Contractor and all subcontractors must maintain current licensing throughout the life of the project. If this proposal is accepted, all the work under this contract shall be completed in TWENTY-TWO (22) CITY WORKING DAYS from and after the City's Notice to Contractor to commence work hereunder, including time required for design, agency approval(s), procurement, shipping, installation, inspections(s), testing and final acceptance. See Project Schedule in Scope of Work for further detail. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
