Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The project shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work required to satisfactorily complete the project, which consists of phased renovation and expansion of the Concourse, Holdroom, Holdroom Restrooms and Terminal Restrooms. Work also includes demolition of the existing Connector between the Holdroom and the Terminal. The project is broken down into two work schedules, with Substantial Completion of Schedule 1 to be completed prior to commencing work for Schedule 2. There is an alternate to Schedule 2 for the renovation and expansion of the inbound baggage handling system (BHS) and bag claim area. In accordance with North Carolina General Statute GS 133-3, this project will contain preferred brand alternates for door hardware locksets (Best), tile carpeting (Shaw), direct digital control (DDC) for HVAC (Honeywell), intelligent fire alarm detection system and integrated digital audio (Notifier), access control system (Johnson Controls), closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance system (Johnson Controls), and the public address system (MOOD Media). The Airport stipulates that these preferred brand alternates are necessary to provide branding and aesthetic consistency, compatibility with existing building functions and maintenance, and reduction of cost of building operations and maintenance processes.
