The University of Arkansas Rich Mountain located in Mena, AR is soliciting assistance from qualified architectural firms for on call architectural services including planning, design, and construction administration services related to any construction needs that arise on our campuses in Mena, Waldron and Mount Ida. The prospective firm should have experience with college and universities (community college a plus) in the State of Arkansas. Other criteria considered in the evaluation of design professional will be as follows: Compatibility with the UA Rich Mountain staffs Personnel assigned to the project Current workload of firm Design experience with historical projects Understanding of small, rural colleges Understanding of the Ouachita Mountain region The selection process will conform to the University of Arkansas System Board Policy 740.1 and be work will be subject to state law defining deferred maintenance or minor renovation projects, A.C.A. 19-11-1001. All parties to this contract shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, political opinions or affiliation, military status, or other status protected by applicable law. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
