Renovation of a municipal facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The the work includes the replacement of the existing revolving doors, swing doors and storefront leading to the east and west portions of the Skyway. Scope of work includes demolition, light gauge framing and drywall, new automatic sliding doors, patching of existing floor tile and carpet finishes, patching of existing drywall and suspended ceiling tile systems, replacement of existing intercom devices, and new security connections to new doors and entry access readers. All electrical and low voltage security work is to be provided as design/build services. Contractor shall retain VTI Security to provide security related scope of work. The Technical Specifications and Drawings, marked as Part 2 of this RFP and hereby incorporated, provide additional information on the Project.
