Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Burlington, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Request for a Lump Sum Bid for the materials and construction of a concrete floor inside existing storage building located at the Coffey County Landfilln: 1. Building size and configuration: 40x52x12 with two large sliding doors and one walkout door. 2. Building type: Post frame construction. 3. On each 40 end, the building has a Single Sliding 12x16 wide door. 4. The floor shall be a minimum of 6 inches thick and have 1/2 American grade 60 rebar, supported on 18-inch centers with thickened edges. 5. Sliding door openings shall have concrete configured with positive drainage and deter water from blowing in under the doors. A 2x16 apron/approach shall be placed outside of each sliding door slightly sloping away from the building with a broom finish. 6. Floor shall be machine trowel finished. 7. Concrete shall be 4,000 psi. 8. A 3x3 concrete pad shall be placed outside of the walkout door with a broom finish. 9. Current base/floor in the building is lime screenings.
