Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in El Reno, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of: Grubbing and Clearing, Excavation, Removal of Old Bridge Structure and Replacement with a triple 4' x 8' precast reinforced concrete box with cast-in-place concrete end sections and an asphalt overlay to the existing road bed along with other Miscellaneous Appurtenances. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least fi ve percent (5%) of the amount of Proposal, as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the acceptable Performance Bond, Statutory Bond, Maintenance Bond, Owner's Protective Liability Policy, Defect Bond and Certifi cates of Insurance within fi fteen (15) days after the award of the contract. The time allowed for completion of this project is 35 working days. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project within the allotted time or authorized extensions thereof shall be $350.00 per working day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, for the benefi t of the Owner.
