A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the total bid for work shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. The City of Hutchinson, Kansas, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which bid is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Owner and to approve the bonds and insurance.
