Tellepsen Builders, L.P., serving as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for Texas A&M University System, in accordance with Texas Government Code 2269, will receive proposals from qualified subcontractors and vendor trades for the Gateway Education Center - Phase 2 , initial packages for award include Earthwork, Utilities, SWPPP, Cast in place Concrete, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and elevator. The balance of work will be awarded in subsequent packages. The project is located on the RELLIS campus, 1425 Bryan Road, Bryan, Texas 77807. This project consists of a new 48,014 sf (approximately) Academic Building. Facility is a three story building, steel framed construction with classrooms, labs, administrative and common spaces. Building skin consists of brick and stone veneer, curtain wall and metal panels. The site work includes concrete paving with new storm and utilities. Project will start September 2019 and substantial completion will be November 2020. A schedule will be issued thru SmartBid and discussed at Pre-Proposal conference.
