Site work and renovation of a civil project in Roaring Bk Tp, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
For Sanitary Sewer System Rehabilitation Project Contract 1 and Contact 2 For providing the following: Contract 1: Sewer Main Pipe Lining The Bid shall include cleaning and televising of sanitary sewer mains and relining of selected sanitary sewer mains with cured in place pipe. Contract 2: Pump Station Upgrades and Metering Manholes The Bid shall include upgrade work at the Elmbrook Terrace Pump Station and Roaring Brook Estates Pump Station including cleaning of equalization tanks, replacement of equalization tank equipment, replacement of generators and transfer switches. Construction of three metering manholes and a rain gauge. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, bank cashier's check, or trust company treasurer's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Roaring Brook Township Sewer Authority. The successful bidder shall be expected to execute and file the proposed contract and to furnish and pay for Performance, Payment and other Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price as security for the performance of the contract and payment of all costs thereof within ten days after the award of the contract. If the Bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into the contract after given the award, the proceeds of the check deposited by him shall be used as liquidated damages by the Roaring Brook Township Sewer Authority for his failure or refusal to comply. All bidders/offerors are hereby notified that all work under this contract is governed by the labor standards and wage determination decision issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry and are included in the Contract Documents. The Roaring Brook Township Sewer Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities in any bid, for the best interests of the Authority. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
