As of December 5, 2022, design is 27% complete. An engineer has been selected. A timeline for bid/ construction has not been determined. Construction is anticipated to last approximately 54 months. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- In this Request for Qualifications Statements/Proposals (“RFQ/P”) the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (the “MWRA” or the “Authority”) requests qualifications statements and proposals (“Proposals”) from qualified firms (“Proposers”) interested in providing design and engineering services during construction for the construction of new 48-in and 60-in diameter pipelines and rehabilitation of existing pipelines to eliminate bottlenecks in the connections to pipeline Sections 53 and 99 in Malden and Revere, MA (the “Project”). A complete description of the services (“Scope of Services”) to be provided under this engagement is included as Attachment A to this RFQ/P. Proposers are advised that resident engineering and inspection services will be provided by others and are therefore not included in this Scope of Services. The MWRA anticipates that the successful Proposer will be awarded a contract which includes a modified cost plus fixed and percentage fee compensation methodology up to a not-to-exceed amount. The contract with the selected firm will be for a term of 102 months, with an effective start date planned for December 2019. This MWRA procurement will be an evaluative, one-step process. Proposers will submit information, to be evaluated by the Authority, concerning their cost, qualifications/key personnel, experience/past performance, technical approach, capacity/organization/management approach and MBE/WBE participation, as more fully described in Sections 4.3.1 through 4.3.5 of this RFQ/P.
