Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in New Paltz, New York. Working plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a 49,400-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and educational facility.

The scope of the project is to renovate an existing 49,400 square foot dormitory with a concrete structural system, brick veneer exterior, and copper mansard and membrane roofing system. This project includes the renovation of the existing 3 story Residence Hall, the addition of a 4th floor, and a new steel framed attic with sloped metal roof. Entrance Vestibule and bicycle canopy additions will also be constructed. The interior renovations will include the reconfiguration of spaces and installation of floor, wall and ceiling finishes throughout. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems will also be provided Construction is scheduled to start in May 2022 with substantial completion in July of 2022. The total square footage of the completed building including the new floor and attic space will be 63,000 square feet. This project will be tax exempt and will require the use of prevailing wage labor. This project will be LEED v4 Certified. M/WBE and SDVOB contractors are encouraged to propose on this project as project specific requirements have been identified. The requirements are 15% MBE, 15% WBE and 6% SDVOB participation. Please be sure to indicate on your proposal if you are a NYS-Certified M/WBE or SDVOB contractor. In an effort to maximize the amount of MWBE and SDVOB involvement, Consigli Construction is willing to structure select trade scopes in such a manner that will help facilitate MWBE/SDVOB participation. Please contact us directly to discuss any specific elements or scopes of work you would like to price. Subcontractors interested in responding to this solicitation must submit one (1) electronic copy of an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the contact noted below no later than 5:00 pm on December 30, 2021. EOI's received after this date will not be considered. Expressions of Interest must include the following information in the same tab order as indicated below. Based on the information received, firms deemed qualified by review of their respective EOI will be short listed and issued a Request for Proposal (RFP), access to the project documents, and will be required to complete an electronic prequalification. The prequalification process will be administered through Pantera and will require additional information about your firm, including but not limited to: quality assurance, supplier references, current banking and bonding information, company revenue information and financial statements. All proposers, domestic and foreign, must be in compliance with New York State business registration requirements. Contact the NYS Department of State regarding compliance. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
