Site work and paving for a road / highway in Redmond, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Redmond invites Sealed Bids for construction of the 2019/2020 Type III Slurry Project. The project consists of the surface sealing of existing roadway surfaces on local streets throughout Redmond. The work includes public notification, traffic control, Slurry Seal, and miscellaneous items necessary to complete the project. The project estimate is approximately $575,000. This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages. Enclose a bidder's bond, certified check (or cashier's) check made payable to the Owner in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. The City shall return bid security to all bidders upon execution of the contract. All questions will be responded to in a written Addenda and posted on online. All questions received after the bid closing date will not receive a response. Final Completion Date: September 1, 2020. Liquidated damages will be assessed per the City of Redmond Standards and Specifications General Conditions. (if the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time allowed) It is the intention of the City to award the contract at the October 22, 2019 City Council meeting. The project construction may be started on October 23, 2019. Project shall be completed no later than September 1, 2020.
