The subject property is located approximately 6.3 miles north and 3.0 miles east of the City of Hollis, Oklahoma. The proposed construction site is in the immediate vicinity of the existing water tower. The existing tank will be removed prior to the new construction. The proposed construction area was partially covered with grass and visually appeared to be relatively level.Concrete fragments and gravel were encountered in one of our borings. Water tanks, fences and overhead/underground utilities existed in the general vicinity of the proposed construction site.The surface conditions were relatively dry and our truck-mounted drill rig experienced no difficulty in moving around the site. Small business and minority owned business sources are encouraged to bid on this project. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will within ten (10) days from the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds, and furnish a certificate of Workman's Compensation and General Contractors Liability Insurance.
