A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will within ten (10) days from the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds, and furnish a certificate of Workman's Compensation and General Contractors Liability Insurance. The Town of Hollis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. (Bid shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101-136 et seq.). The Town of Hollis reserves the right to withhold any contract awarded subject to the availability of funds. Non-Collusion form must be signed, notarized, and returned with bid or bid will not be accepted. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract and to fully complete Section A within 60 consecutive calendar days and Section B within 45 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages $1000.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as approved in Section 800-05-12.5.2 of the General Provisions.
