Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
For furnishing all material, equipment, labor and supervision necessary for completion of the following:ELEVATED STORAGE TANK REHABILITATIONThe major items of work include: Abrasive blast and recoat exterior and dry interior base pedestal piping of existing 250,000-gallon elevated storage tank. Pressure wash, power tool clean, and spot recoat areasof corrosion in interior bowl of elevated storage tank. Disinfection of tank. Complete replacement of fill lines and associated valves located in valve vault. Remove and replace existing panelboard and light fixtures. Add overflow signal to existing autodialer. Modify existing program to interlock booster pumps with elevated storage tank high level. Relocate pressure transmitter conduit to elevated storage tank standpipe. Install concrete slab inside elevated storage tank's floor. Install sump pump. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of HARRIS COUNTY WCID NO. 116 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposalmay be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidderwill be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenancebond for the full amount of the contract.
