As of February 11, 2020, this project is underway, and all trades have been let. Construction will begin Winter, 2020. The work of this single-bid project includes preparatory site work, micropile deep foundations and concrete foundation elements. Preparatory site work shall include site demolition as needed to facilitate the installation of the concrete foundations, implementation of erosion and sedimentation control measures, and associated earthwork. Concrete foundations installed by this contract shall include micropiles, pile caps, mat foundations, grade beams, piers, pedestals, installation of anchor bolts for future structural steel, etc. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
