Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Bragg, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Replacement of 1100 linear feet of storm drain including several new drain inlets along the easternmost section of Maple Street, pavement rehabilitation of up to five alleyways and Maple Street, and replacement of several sections of sidewalk including new standardized ADA curb ramps. Work shall be completed within Fifty (50) Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs is approximately $1,373,924 or $1,478,010 when the alternate bid item is included. Reservation of Rights: City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or alt Bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work, City may reject any and all Bids and waive any minor trregularities in the Bids. A California class A contractor's license is required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. City shall accept Bids only from Bidders that (along with all Subcontractors listed in Subcontractors List) are currently registered with the Department of Industrial Relations ("DIR") and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Substitution of Securities: City will permit the successful bidder to substitute securities for any retention monies withheld to ensure performance of the contract, as set forth in Escrow Agreement for Security Deposits in Lieu of Retention and incorporated herein in full by this reference, in accordance with Public Contract Code Section 22300. This Project is subject to prevailing wage compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
