The City of Fort Bragg is seeking bids from qualified professionals interested in contracting with the CITY for the 2021 CURE-IN-PLACE PIPE PROJECT NO. WWP-00023 to provide cure-in-place lining of existing pipe as further described in the bid packet. Work shall be completed within Fifty (50) Days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. The project work is generally described as cure-in-place lining of existing pipe as further described in the bid package The Engineer's Opinion of Probable Costs is approximately $285,000.00 Project Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to provide complete rehabilitation of project gravity sanitary sewer lines by installation of a thermo setting polyester or epoxy vinyl ester resin, vacuum impregnated flexible polyester fill tube having an impermeable inner surface. The tubes are inserted into existing sewers, expanded against the existing sewer interior surfaces, and cured by circulating heated water or steam throughout the tube from manhole to manhole. The CIPP will cure into a hard, impermeable, corrosion-resistant liner of specified thickness and physical properties, with a uniformly smooth surface All work shall be performed by a qualified contractor using cured-in-place piping from a qualified manufacturer. The qualified contractor shall be a licensed contractor of the qualified manufacturer. Contractors shall have successfully installed a minimum of 50,000 lineal feet (LF) of similar sized cured-in-place pipe. Any contractors wishing to pre-qualify may submit a pre-qualification submittal to the Project Manager. Submittals must be submitted no later than one (1) week prior to bid closing date.
