Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and include all additive alternates in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond. The successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount and a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount written by a company that complies with the provisions of La. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 Bidders and sub-Bidders requests for such interpretations shall be made in writing to the Architect no later than seven (7) working days prior to date and time for receiving bids. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. This scope will consist of the demolition of the existing buildings and site improvements at Broadmoor Middle School. This scope of work shall also include all necessary removal of existing Structural, Mechanical and Electrical equipment, as well as all necessary abatement and removal of materials, as described in the construction documents. 2. Scope includes any other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. The deadline to submit RFIs is April 30, 2026. All questions are to be submitted via the beaconbid.com link above. Any questions received after this date are not guaranteed to be included; no calls or emails will be answered after this date; no substitutions will be allowed after bids are received.
