Renovation of a water / sewer project in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the following: drain residual water in the tank, clean out and dispose of any accumulated sediment and debris; furnish and install a temporary scaffolding system to allow contractor access to the side and underside of the tank and support the containment system; remove the existing exterior coating system on the steel portion of the tank; apply a new exterior coating system, including prime, intermediate, and finish coats; and repair tank appurtenances as necessary. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
