Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pierce, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of April 22, 2020. Project has been awarded with 150 days to complete. A description of the work of this project can be summarized to: Base Bid Includes: Boiler replacement with two electric boilers - new pumps and required electrical system modification to accommodate the new boiler layout. The existing piping system will be re-used under the base-bid scope of work. The kitchen will receive a new cooling system. The classroom unit ventilators will be replaced. Alternate #1 Replacement of the existing piping system. Alternate #2 Exterior improvements - including prep and painting building exterior and new signage. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount - including any add alternates - is required. All work is to be accomplished within from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Failure to perform the work within the established time period will be grounds for withholding an appropriate amount of compensation as damages for delay. Questions regarding the pre-bid conference - plans - specifications - materials - etc. can be addressed to the Contracting Officer - Mr. Jeffrey E. Hill - P.E. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho will be required of the successful bidder prior to award of a contract.
