Work includes but is not limited to, Chemical grouting of 81 manhole defects Cement patching of 2 manhole defects Chemical grouting of 8 pipe defects within 8" diameter sanitary sewer Chemical grouting of 2 pipe defects within 18" diameter sanitary sewer Partial CIPP lining of 29 pipe defects within 8" diameter sanitary sewer Complete CIPP lining of 4 sanitary sewers totaling 933 feet in length (all 8" diameter) Installation of 7 Lateral Connection Repair (LCR) seals at designated S/Cs (service connection or lateral) within 8" diameter sanitary sewers. Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid but not exceeding $20,000 payable to the order of the Hanover Sewerage Authority to insure the execution of the Contract. The deposit shall be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award of the Contract. Upon execution of the Contract, the bid check of the successful bidder will be returned. Within ten (10) days of the receipt of bids, the security of all but the three (3) apparent lowest bidders will be returned. Bid shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety for the furnishing of a payment and performance bond issued by a company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, satisfactory to the Hanover Sewerage Authority and its counsel, in the amount equal to 100% of the total base bid. The right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such action be not detrimental to the best interest of the Hanover Sewerage Authority.
