removal and trucking of liquid sewage sludge from the Hanover Sewerage Treatment Plant located at Troy Road, Whippany New Jersey, for disposal at Passaic Valley Sewerage Commissioners (PVSC) Treatment Plant. Bids will be received on contract duration of one (1) year commencing on January 1, 2026, together with options for two (2), one (1) year extensions exercisable in the sole discretion of the Authority. Each bid must be made on the standard bid forms furnished by the Hanover Sewerage Authority in the manner thereon and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the bid title, and contract number and shall be addressed to:Hanover Sewerage Authority Township of Hanover Morris County, New Jersey Bids sent by mail or messenger shall also be marked: SEALED BID - DO NOT OPEN Bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten(10%) percent of the bid but not exceeding $ 20,000 payable to the order of the Hanover Sewerage Authority to Insure the execution of the Contract. The deposit shall be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award of the Contract. Upon execution of the Contract, the bid check of the successful bidder will be returned. Within ten (10) days of the receipt of bids, the security of all but the three (3) apparent lowest bidders will be returned Bid shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety for the furnishing of a payment and performance bond issued by a company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, satisfactory to the Hanover Sewerage Authority and its counsel, in the amount equal to 100% of the total base bid. The bond shall be submitted and approved on or before the date set for execution of the Contract. The right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in any bid is reserved if such action be not detrimental to the best interest of the Hanover Sewerage Authority.
