The opening of proposals will take place at the Lavallette Municipal Building, 1306 Grand Central Avenue, Lavallette, NJ at the time prescribed above. The Borough is requesting a statement of qualifications and a proposal from engineering firms qualified to provide municipal consulting engineering services. The Borough is Seeking an Engineering Firm, Which Can Perform All the Duties of Consulting Engineer, as Described Throughout This Request for Qualifications and Proposal as Well as Review of Any Proposals That Are Given by Mayor and Council. Each proposal shall be signed by the proposed Engineer or firm and contained in a sealed envelope, which shall be addressed to the Borough Clerk, and shall contain on the face of the envelope a statement that it is a bid on said item. The proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq. The award of the contract shall be made after evaluation, by resolution of the Governing Body at their Reorganization Meeting in January. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
