Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lavallette, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work of This Contract Includes, but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: Construction of 500 Gpm Water Supply Replacement Well No. 6 in the Englishtown Aquifer Project Also Includes Removal and Replacement of the Water Treatment Plant and Well Nos. 3, 5 and 6 Electrical Supply and Motor Controller System While Maintaining Service, Redevelopment and Pump Replacement of Well No. 5, Well No. 3 Abandonment, Construct Well House No. 6, Miscellaneous Demolition Work, Existing Well House Repairs, Yard Piping, Site Restoration and All Else Necessary and Incedental Thereto. Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. This contract or subcontract is expected to be funded in part with funds from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) calendar days before the established date for Bid opening
