Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lavallette, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: "Drainage Improvements Contract a" Consists of the Installation of Approximately 6,500 LF HDPE Pipe, 1,700 Lf Ductile Iron Pipe, 75 Nyoplast Drain Basins and 12 Type 'a' Inlet Basins as Needed to Connect Residential Sump Pumps to the Borough Storm System; Restoration Includes 435 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 610 SY Concrete Apron, 2,800 LF Concrete Curb Replacement and All Other Work Necessary and Incidental Thereto. The Contractor is Advised That the Borough Intends to Issue the Notice to Proceed for This Project on or About March 17,2025 The Proposal must be submitted utilizing the forms contained within the Contract Documents. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his address and name of Project(s) for which the Bid is submitted. Materials to be contained within the sealed envelope are specified under" Instructions to Bidders." Bid Proposals shall be complete, in ink, and any Bids incomplete or not submitted in a sealed, specially addressed envelope may be considered informal. Bid documents cannot be obtained at The Borough of South Toms River Borough Hall or at Van Cleefs office. The printing costs not refundable. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Lavallette and shall be without condition or qualification. All Bidders shall be required to comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each Subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. All Bidders must also comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. and the N.J.S.A. 34:1B-5.1, Chapter 150, Laws of 1963. The Borough of Lavallette reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. If the Bidder is a Corporation or a Partnership, the Bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his Bid, a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a 10 percent or greater interest in the firm.
