VCEA PROJECT #24201.00 The work of this contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the Following: "drainage improvements contract b" consists of the installation of approximately 8,000 lf of Concrete integral curb, 540 s.Y. Of roadway restoration, 21,000 s.Y. Of milling and 2,800 tons of surface Course paving and all work necessary and incindental thereto. The contractor is advised that the Borough intends to issue the notice to proceed for this project on or about may 19, 2025. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Lavallette and shall be without condition or qualification. All Bidders shall be required to comply with Chapter 127, P.L. 1975, c. 127, requiring each Bidder and each Subcontractor to formulate and submit to the proper authorized representative of the State of New Jersey an Affirmative Action Program of equal opportunity which guarantees minorities employment in all categories. --Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. --All Bidders must also comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. and the N.J.S.A. 34:1B-5.1, Chapter 150, Laws of 1963.
