Site work and paving for a civil project in Lavallette, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Work of This Contract Includes, but is Not Necessarily Limited to the Following: Roadway Milling and Paving of Portions of Newark Avenue. Including Approximately 7,044 Sy Milling, Variable Depth; Approximately 934 Tons Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course; Installation of 618 Lf of Ductile Iron Pipe, One Storm Sewer Manhole, Two Type a Inlets; and All Other Work Necessary and Incidental Thereto. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Lavallette and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough of Lavallette reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. No oral interpretation shall be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of any of the Contract Documents or be effective to modify any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening.
