As of January 29, 2020 the project is not yet awarded. A timeline for award is not yet determined. This project is funded through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management's State Revolving Loan Fund. The Project is generally described as follows: the rehabilitation of approximately 8,400 linear feet of gravity sewer line and associated manholes, rehabilitation of existing lift station including controls and associated site and electrical improvements, and replacement of existing vertical fine screen at the City's wastewater treatment plant and associated electrical improvements. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Price but not more than $50,000.00. The Owner requires the Project to be completed in one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from date of Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
