Lower Makefield Township is accepting proposals for 2020 2022 Private Sanitary Sewer Lateral Inspections from licensed plumbers and utility contractors The price proposals will be provided to the property owners in Lower Makefield Township for their use in hiring a company to perform the work for them under a guaranteed price requested by this RFP. Lower Makefield Township is requesting pricing proposals to assist residents in Lower Makefield Township with implementing the Lower Makefield Township Lateral Inspection Ordinance. All pricing proposals received as part of this request will be made available to the residents. Failure to submit a proposal does not preclude contractors from performing lateral inspections within Lower Makefield Township, but it will preclude contractors from being included on the list of available contractors and pricing that will be made available to residents. The scope of work includes inspection and televising sanitary sewer laterals, completion of the lateral inspection report form and submission of the completed inspection report and video recording to Lower Makefield Township. All work is in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, as provided for in the technical specifications. The proposal request is for guaranteed pricing as defined in the bid form for three years with a separate price for each of the three years. The bid is for a lump sum price of the lateral inspection for the first one hundred and fifty feet with a price per foot for additional lengths greater than one hundred and fifty feet. The cost must include all required work by the inspection form as well as the Technical Specification and Lower Makefield Township Lateral Inspection Ordinance. The submission of proposals will not result in a contract between the bidder and Lower Makefield Township. All pricing proposals received will be included on a directory and made available to the residents of Lower Makefield Township. Residents or Homeowners Associations will be responsible to contract with the contractor when an inspection of the sanitary sewer lateral may be required.
