**As of February 7, 2022, this project has been awarded.** The City of West Palm Beach is soliciting Proposals from design-build firms to prepare construction drawings and specifications from the Design Criteria Package (DCP) and construct the new gymnasium, renovate and expand the existing community center at Coleman Park (Project) in accordance with the most efficient schedule, at the best cost and with the highest quality. Through the design-build with Guaranteed Maximum Price method, the City expects to achieve timely development of construction documents, efficient scheduling, and clear assignment of performance responsibilities to a single entity and full integration of quality control in all aspects of the Project's construction. Unless otherwise provided by ordinance, the MWBE subcontractor goal for the construction work will be 15% of the total contract value for construction services under the Contract/GMP. Eligibility MWBE eligible to meet the MWBE subcontractor goal for construction work shall included a mix of firms owned by African-Americans (not to exceed 11.17%), Hispanic Americans (not to exceed 11.45%) and/or Caucasian Women (not to exceed 12.71%).
