Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Washington, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,800-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of Alterations and Renovations to the approximately 2,800 square foot existing Waterworks Building. Work will include selective interior demolition, wood floor framing, concrete flatwork, masonry (tuckpointing), window and door replacement/preservation, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical work. The Project will be bid as a single General Contractor contract. The City of Washington anticipates approving bids in December with the notice to proceed being issued within 4 weeks. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of the Contract, and also a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. The Surety shall be a company licensed to do business in the State of Missouri and shall be acceptable to the City. The Performance Bond and the Labor and Material Payment Bond may be in one or in separate instruments, however if combined into one the amount shall be for two hundred percent (200%) of the Contract Sum. Bidder understands that City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
